Skydivecharlevoix offers skydiving and skydiving for everyone in Michigan. In particular, the jumps take place with a wonderful view of Lake Charlevoix.
Solution
We kicked off by conducting a comprehensive technical audit and competitor analysis, which helped us identify key areas for improvement and optimization.
Technical Site Optimization:
Our audit revealed several issues crucial for the site’s SEO success. We manually corrected:
– Missing meta descriptions
– Missing H1 tags
– Duplicate H1 tags
Additionally, we provided the development team with tasks to address remaining issues like:
– Missing alt text for images
– Optimizing large images over 100KB
On-Page Optimization:
We built a targeted keyword strategy for service pages, focusing on local search queries. Based on this, we revamped meta tags and H1 headers, which were promptly reflected in Google’s search results.
We also increased page content volume, making it more informative and conversion-driven, ensuring users received all relevant information upon landing on the page. After client approval, the updated content went live, enhancing both user engagement and search visibility.
Off-Page Website Optimization:
Since the site was new with no prior SEO efforts, we developed a cautious link-building strategy to gradually increase backlinks, avoiding any penalties from Google. We began with a small number of quality links, aligning donor page rank with priority service pages and geo-targeted queries.
Our team crafted guest posts for authoritative domains, carefully following their requirements for content structure, keywords, and backlinks. Each post was optimized for high-relevance keywords using data from Ahrefs and Google to ensure organic integration of anchors.
