Project description
Elfbar is a brand of nicotine products sold worldwide. Our task is to promote the brand through social media and increase brand reach and awareness.
Solution
When we first started working on the project, the Instagram profile lacked a cohesive style, and posts were inconsistent. There was no sense of unity or overall aesthetic. Our analysis also revealed a lack of engagement and communication with the audience — both crucial for a brand looking to grow on social media.
While developing the strategy for promoting the Elfbar brand on social media, we decided to use graphic images, animations, and videos—content that resonates most with the target audience. Additionally, based on industry requirements, we minimized content featuring people. All created content was unified with brand elements and typography, ensuring that users immediately recognized it as Elfbar content, even when the product itself was either absent or subtly integrated.
We completely changed the visual style and approach to social media to set Elfbar apart from the competition:
We developed various content categories and audience engagement mechanics. Simply posting content — especially without the ability to use targeted ads—wouldn’t generate the necessary reach. That’s why we focused on both branded content and engaging, value-driven posts to boost interaction and maintain communication with our audience.
From the start, we engaged with our audience through Instagram Stories and comments. We ran polls, quizzes, and interactive questions, which helped drive higher engagement and foster a more active community.
Next, following the strategy we had previously developed, we started collaborating with influencers and bloggers on Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram. This approach allowed us to significantly expand our reach and increase brand awareness among our target audience. Thanks to influencer marketing, our accounts began to grow rapidly.
Besides bloggers, various stores in our product category and vape shops also became our promoters on social media. Through collaborations with them, we ran giveaways, gained additional followers, and expanded our reach.
To promote the TikTok page, we developed a separate strategy since the platform’s guidelines are even stricter than Instagram’s. Our focus for TikTok was on entertaining, engaging, and valuable video content. To bring this strategy to life, we invited a host who perfectly matched the style we aimed for.
Engaging content performed particularly well. This included street interviews and giveaways, where participants could win a brand gift by completing specific tasks. As a result, we rapidly grew our TikTok audience and boosted brand awareness.
